Maxim has worked extensively as an arranger with Antony and the Johnsons and has contributed to tracks by Rufus Wainwright, Keren Ann, Josh Groban, Linda Thompson, Joan As Policewoman, Ana Silvera and numerous others. His orchestrations of songs by Pink Floyd have been performed by The Machine alongside the Detroit, San Diego and Atlanta Symphonies and the Boston Pops, among others. Maxim orchestrated an evening of music for Rufus Wainwright alongside the Britten Symphonia which was met with rave reviews at the BBC Proms in 2014. His orchestral reworkings of William Basinski’s ambient masterpieces The Disintegration Loops have been received with critical praise in New York,  London and Geneva.

As a producer, Maxim brings to a project his creativity, his arranging skills and his relationships with some of the most talented musicians and studios in NYC, shepherding that project through from pre-production to mastering. Maxim has produced tracks for Rufus Wainwright for War Child Heroes (2009) as well as albums by Baby Dee (2009) , Matteah Baim (2014)  and Rebecca Mimiaga (2015).
